We want to pave the way for future and current designers to normalize transparent fashion. At Samia Usmani, we strive for honesty with our customers. This includes being socially and environmentally minded when sourcing materials, aiming to use them in their entirety, being honest about our products and pricing, and crafting made-to-order pieces to further reduce environmental impact.
In the ever-evolving world of slow and conscious fashion, our brand is committed to growing right alongside it. We're diving deeper into researching fabrics, production techniques, and the industry itself, and we’re happy for you to be apart of the journey.

Each piece is currently handmade with much love and care, making every creation truly one of a kind. The handmade process might mean slight variations, which are just a part of what makes your piece so special. Since every piece is made to order, some fabrics from past collections may no longer be available or be swapped out for a more ethical alternative.
We order all materials and make our garments to order to minimize any waste and only consume what is necessary, so please allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. If you have a rush request, please reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

HOW LONG DOES AN ORDER TAKE?
Please allow 4–6 weeks for production and delivery. As of now, each piece is handmade by the designer and made to order— which is why our lead time is a little longer. If you have a deadline in mind, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll always do our best to accommodate rush requests whenever possible!
WHAT GOES INTO PRICING?
Currently we charge for materials plus labor plus any fabric shipping costs. That is the price you’re charged, nothing more, nothing less. Each fabric we use is carefully selected, with fiber compositions made of pure materials and blends of linen, silk, Tencel™ Lyocell, and other environmentally conscious choices. Because of that, materials are usually higher priced than synthetics such as polyester or nylon.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY ORDER?
Yes! We welcome customization (design, color and sizing) to get your piece as personalized as possible. Before you add an item to your cart, you’ll be asked if you have any customizations in a popup form, feel free to put any customizations or requests.
DO YOU SHIP ANYWHERE?
Yes— please note shipping costs are dependent on where you’re located and are added to your total item cost. For orders in the NYC area, we offer free drop off or pickup.
